All my tours vs the tools you already use

Which tools All my tours replaces, which ones you should keep, and why.

A tour guide at a desk with a city map, a laptop and a stack of books, thinking about the All my tours flag.

Short answer

All my tours is a free booking page for the bookings that come to you directly. It does not find you travellers the way GetYourGuide or Viator do, so most guides use both. If you work alone, it replaces booking software like FareHarbor or Rezdy. It takes no commission on any booking.

What All my tours is

One page with your name on it, where travellers see your tours and book a time without making an account. Your calendar stays in sync, so you are never booked twice. Private tours wait for your approval, and group tours confirm straight away. It is built for one guide working alone, and setting it up takes about twenty minutes.

Three kinds of tool, three different answers

“All my tours or GetYourGuide” is not really a choice. The answer depends on what kind of tool you are comparing with.

Marketplaces

Keep them, and use All my tours alongside

GetYourGuide, Viator, Airbnb Experiences, Klook, Civitatis

They show your tour to travellers who have never heard of you, and take 20% to 30% of every booking for it. All my tours has no travellers to send you. It is for the people who already know your name: returning guests, their friends, your Instagram and your Google profile.

Booking software

Replace it, if you work alone

FareHarbor, Rezdy, Bokun, Peek Pro, Checkfront

Built for tour companies with staff, resellers and card payments. A solo guide pays for all of that, by the month or by the booking, and uses little of it. All my tours does the part a solo guide needs, for free.

Guide directories

Keep them, and use All my tours alongside

ToursByLocals, Withlocals, tourHQ, GuruWalk

A profile inside someone else's shop. They bring enquiries, and they set the commission, the rules and how travellers reach you. Your own page is the one place where those are yours to decide.

Why a page of your own when you already have a listing

A marketplace listing is worth having. But everything on it belongs to the marketplace, and many of your bookings never needed the marketplace in the first place.

  • Your reviews and ranking stay where they are. If the marketplace changes its rules or its search, none of it moves with you.
  • Every booking pays commission, even the ones you found. A returning guest who books through a marketplace still costs you 20% to 30%.
  • You get paid later. Marketplaces pay after the tour date, often weeks later.
  • You set the rules. Different start times on different days, and private tours that you approve before they are confirmed.

A direct link goes in your Instagram bio, on your Google profile, on your business card and in the message to a guest who wants to come back. The hybrid strategy explains how to run both, and this guide covers what marketplace rules let you do with the guests they send.

Every tool, side by side

When All my tours is the wrong choice

  • You need strangers to find you. Stay on a marketplace. All my tours has no travellers to send you.
  • You need card payment or a deposit at booking. Not built yet. FareHarbor, Rezdy and Bokun all do it today.
  • You have staff or resellers. All my tours is one guide, one calendar. Rezdy and Bokun are built for teams and agents.
  • You want one system that updates every marketplace. That is a channel manager, and All my tours is not one.

How to decide

  1. Where do your guests come from today? Mostly strangers from a marketplace: keep it, and add your own page for everyone else. Mostly people who already know you: they should not cost you commission.
  2. Do you work alone? Then most booking software is built for a company you are not.
  3. Must the traveller pay when they book? If yes, you need a tool that takes cards, and All my tours does not yet.

Frequently asked questions

Can I keep my GetYourGuide or Viator listing?

Yes, and most guides should. A marketplace brings travellers who have never heard of you. All my tours takes the bookings from people who already have. The two do different jobs.

Can I send marketplace guests to my own page?

Only within your supplier terms. Marketplaces limit how you contact the guests they send you, and breaking those rules can get you removed. Read your own agreement first.

Does All my tours bring me travellers?

Not the way a marketplace does. There is no marketplace behind it, so nobody browses All my tours looking for a tour to book. Your page and each of your tours can show up in search engines and in AI chat recommendations, so some travellers may find you there, but that grows slowly. Most bookings come from wherever you share your link. If you need strangers to find you this season, you still need a marketplace or a directory.

What does All my tours cost?

Nothing during early access, with no limit on tours or bookings. There is no commission on any booking, and that will not change. Pricing for later is not set yet, and guides will get notice before anything changes.

Can All my tours replace FareHarbor or Rezdy?

If you work alone and sell directly, usually yes. If you have staff, sell through agents and resellers, or need to take card payment at booking, not yet. Those tools do things All my tours does not.

Will I get double-booked if I use a marketplace too?

Not if your marketplace bookings are in your Google Calendar. All my tours reads your calendar and does not offer a time that is already busy. You can also block time by hand, with no calendar connected at all.
